Created for the High Iron project, above because below seeks to encourage the viewer to consider the belowground environment, it’s beauty and nutrient-rich materials, with enhanced perspective. Installed on the ceiling of an old railcar, visitors must look up to see what is typically below and often blocked from view and seek to appreciate soils for their physical, chemical, and emotional importance.
