foliage palette
Foliage is symbolic in its connection with all living things and a disordered leaf pattern can symbolize the coexistence of opposites, such as light and shadow, growth and decay, and order and chaos. This foliage palette was created for those who like a larger surface to pick up paint with each of the 8 leaves holding a full pan of watercolor paint.
Cherry (lighter color) and walnut (darker color) wooden palettes measure 4.7" x 4.7" x 1" and are sealed with natural tung oil with a plant-based epoxy poured on the underside of the lid to serve as a mixing space. The palettes can be held closed with 2 sets of rare earth magnets.
Watercolor paint was hand-poured into the wells. Colors vary across the guava, maple, pear, and oak collections and are noted on the image showing the information cards for those looking for specific colors. More information on individual colors can be found here.
Palettes are packaged in a compostable bag with a info card and set into a the Art of Soil rigid box.
