This palette contains all of our current soil-based watercolors in a slim palette with mixing space on the lid. 52 eighth pans of soil-based watercolor paint plus a large pan are set in an Art Toolkit brand folio palette. Rust-proof aluminum case measures 5-5/16" x 3-3/8" x 1/4"* (~135 mm x 86 mm x 7 mm) when closed.
Metal pans have color numbers noted on the bottom (more here) and can be rearranged to your heart's content.
As with all natural minerals, soil-based watercolors can have characteristics that cause them to shrink and swell. This is normal and natural and will result in occasional cracks (as you can see in these images). This does not impact the quality or function of the watercolors.
